• Four months after its release a girl sued developer Top Heavy Studios claiming she was only 17 when her topless scenes were filmed. A judge then barred the game from being sold.
After the lawsuit, Top Heavy stated on their website, "The rumors are true! The most controversial video game ever created - The Guy Game - is no longer available!" They then released a DVD of the original footage with extras entitled The Guy Game: Game Over, but it was only available online through its website. Top Heavy eventually closed shop, so the DVD is no longer available for purchase through the company.
